What a nice place. It was a surprise. They grow their own animals. I tried the schnitzel and the Angus beef with pepper sauce. Both were incredibly good. I upload some English menu photos to help people like me that are just passing by. The waitress was friendly and spoke English to us. Take note that the place is Cash only and the nearest ATM is 6km away. If you have some time I highly recommend this place. Is not everyday you go to a 400 years old building to have dinner at a 250 years old restaurant :)

Nice restaurant with great food. Service very friendly and the menu is suitable. Unfortunately, the stable is not quite as suitable and it always comes back a corresponding scent. That's why a star deduction. The Angussteak was a dream. The battle bowl is not to be despised either. I think it's great that you know where the food comes from.

Typical Franconian inn: Delicious food (meat from own slaughter - it could not be better), reasonable prices, nice hostess, good beer and a beer garden are also available.
